Safety at Parties

Top Tip: Do not forget to prepare your camera for the event. Here are some great photography tips.
If you want to hold your own party for Halloween, here are some tips to help Halloween night not to go with a bang!
with fun, giggles and safety
- If you are holding a party in your house, make sure that you move any breakable pieces to another room.
- Plan your games with the children in advance, and know which games you will be doing (see ideas for games below)
- If you can arrange for some other parents to help you at the party, don't leave it to chance that some might
stay! Many parents leave their children at parties when they are a little older, as it gives them some
time off. Don't be left with a group of excited, dressed up children on your own.
- Make a batch of Halloween cup cakes, and other food in advance. Many food companies now make specifically
themed goodies for parties if you have not got time to make everything.
- Having pumpkins to carve at the party can be good fun, but follow the tips we have on safety for kids at
Halloween Safety for Kids
- Set the scene, you can get spiders, their webs, banners, black tablecloths etc for your party table. The
children will love it. Make the atmosphere right, but not too eerie if you have little ones.
- Make sure any pets are safe from the excited children, you don't want to upset your party with an
excited or anxious pet
