Anita's Babies - 0405

This is my 16th week and hello to my hayfever, just as I was getting rid of the sickness and tiredness, along comes my hayfever. I was really upset to find that I couldn't have my anti histamines, all the doctor gave me was my eye drops and nasal spray which he said would help. As the days have got hotter, I wouldn't say this medication has helped and I have been extremely tired over this last week. It hasn't helped as my daughter Katie took ill on Friday, she was really sleepy and complanied of headaches. I gave her childrens nurofen and calpol, and by evening her temperature had hit 39, so I was worried about her. She wasn't settling and ended up sleeping in our bed and then came the sickness so I was up most of Friday evening with her. We didn't go to her ballet or swimming lessons even though she seemed to have perked up a bit by the morning. So throughout the weekend, Katie had the sickness, and the headaches and temperatures going up and down. Finally by Sunday evening she started to feel a little better, I on the other hand was absolutely shattered. I was asleep by 7:30pm and slept right through till Monday morning.

We also found an ants nest had decided to appear outside our house and some of the ants had made their way inside, which ended up in me having to call my mum to enlist her help (as Paul was at work), so I stripped all the lower cupboards and bleached them and had to lay some ant powder and traps and wash all my pots that were in the cupboards. So with all the bending my poor little ones felt so tired and mum did too - this didn't help with Katie being poorly. Well at least the ant powder and traps worked, I haven't seen another one since.
